SAFEBanking ACT won’t make cannabis shops safer

If the SAFEBanking Act passes in the Senate, it won’t stop the violent break-ins at marijuana dispensaries. Senators have been led to believe that break-ins are primarily for cash. Break-ins in pot shops are primarily for the products, particularly high-potency THC!

“TACOMA — The method is the same each time: A stolen car slams through the entrance of a marijuana shop, shattering glass and scattering debris everywhere. A group of masked thieves rushes in, ransacks the place and flees in another stolen car.”

The above describes recent break-ins between Olympia and Tacoma, Washington, 5 of which occurred during the last week of October.

It’s model across the country in 2022, and the SAFEBAnking Act won’t change it.  Please oppose the SAFEBanking Act by using the attached form and sending it to your Senator.

Marijuana Industry targets center of country in 2022 ballots

Several marijuana legalization ballots have been proposed for the 2022 election in November, including Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, North Dakota and South Dakota.  Although the marijuana industry did not achieve its goal of nationwide legalization by 2020, its current strategy targets the center of the country.   Then the rest of the nation will need to follow suit, so they think.

If Missouri passes legalization and Wisconsin activists get their way, it will mess up Governor JB Pritzker’s plan to make Illinois the cannabis capital of the Midwest.   He depends on out-of-staters, who purchase at least 30% of the weed in Illinois, to prop up his struggling program.   Cannabis stores near the borders of Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky can make the most money. New marijuana legalization bill and new shareable video

We have a video explaining the bill that Senator Chuck Schumer introduced this morning to federally legalize marijuana.

This bill works against child welfare, public health and public safety; it ignores the science on today’s marijuana.  It’s a cynical ploy to get young voters who’ve been led to believe that marijuana is harmless.

We ask our followers to write your senators and state legislators to oppose this bill, using the attached link. : https://www.votervoice.net/SAM/campaigns/96399/respond

US Public Broadcasters Cannabis Program Decried by Drug Prevention Advocates

NOVA PBS The Cannabis Question Fraught with Conflict of Interests – Soros and Koch influences over program downplay the harms of cannabis.

MERRIFIELD, VIRGINIA, USA, October 14, 2021 — Parents Opposed to Pot (PopPot.org) calls out PBS’s science program NOVA, The Cannabis Question, for using Koch funding and Soros-funded sources when claiming to objectively explore cannabis science. NOVA’s documentary film aired on September 29, downplaying the major risks of marijuana, without mentioning the conflicts of interests of several featured “experts.”

This bias breaches the public trust in PBS and NOVA. “It is well established that marijuana can cause psychosis, ” explains Aubree Adams, Director of EveryBrainMatters.org, a project of PopPot.org.
